Sterling & Wells

Sterling & Wells is a global tax, VAT, and accounting practice that supports businesses and individuals across the UK and overseas. During my time at Sterling Wells, I built the sterlingandwells.com web platform from the ground up on WordPress, taking the project from a blank setup to a complete corporate website.

Because the firm covers a wide range of services including bookkeeping, payroll, UK VAT compliance, Making Tax Digital, corporate group structuring, and legal advisory, the website needed a clear structure that visitors could navigate without confusion. I worked on the page strategy and developed custom landing pages and lead generation pages tailored to specific domestic and international client needs. Alongside building the frontend, I handled ongoing website maintenance, server security hardening, and speed optimization so every page stayed fast and reliable for global traffic.

To connect the website directly with the firm’s sales and advisory teams, I built automated lead capture workflows across the platform. I integrated HubSpot forms on service and inquiry pages and used Zapier webhooks to send client information straight into internal CRM pipelines. For direct service purchases and paid consultation bookings, I set up Stripe payment processing right inside the user flow. I also worked alongside the SEO team to configure Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager, making sure form submissions, service inquiries, and conversion events were tracked properly from day one.
