LEGAL & SERVICE AGREEMENT

Terms of Use

Last updated: September 18, 2026

These are the terms on which you may use nbk.com.np. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The site is owned and run by me, Nirajan, working from Kathmandu, Nepal. For anything about working together, write to [email protected]. For everything else, including anything about this page, write to [email protected].

1. What this site is

nbk.com.np is my professional portfolio. It exists to show work I have done and to let people who want to hire me get in touch. That is all it is.

Nothing on it is an offer, a quote, or a commitment to be available, and nothing on it forms a contract.

2. Who owns what

This section matters, so it is written plainly.

Mine

The design, the code, the writing and the structure of nbk.com.np are mine and are protected by copyright. That includes the interface, the animations, the written descriptions of projects, and the layout.

Not mine

The projects displayed here were built for clients and employers. In almost every case the finished website, brand or product belongs to them, not to me. Logos, brand names, trademarks, screenshots and product names shown on project pages belong to their respective owners. They appear here to identify the work, and their appearance does not mean the owner endorses me.

Where a project page shows work done as an employee, it is a record of my involvement. It does not mean I hold any rights in the work, and it does not mean I speak for that employer.

All of the work shown here is shown with permission. If you own one of these projects and would prefer it were not displayed, email [email protected] and I will take it down.

Neither of ours

Parts of this site are built on open source software, including WordPress, and on open source libraries. Those remain governed by their own licenses, not by this page.

Yours

Anything you send me through the contact form stays yours. I do not publish enquiries, and I do not use anything you write to me as a testimonial without asking you first.

3. Using the site

You may read the site, share links to it, and quote short extracts with attribution. Search engines and AI systems are welcome to crawl and index it, which is what the site is for.

You may not:

  • copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the content or the design as your own
  • reuse the code or visual assets in a commercial project without written permission
  • run automated tools against the site at a rate that affects its availability for other people
  • attempt to reach any part of the site or its hosting that is not publicly available
  • interfere with the site’s security measures, rate limits or spam protection
  • send anything unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or automated through the contact form
  • upload or introduce malicious code of any kind

4. Enquiries are not engagements

Sending a message through the contact form or by email does not create a contract, an agency relationship, or a consulting engagement.

Any actual work is governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, price and terms, signed by both of us. I may decline any enquiry without giving a reason.

5. Accuracy

I keep this site current, but things change. Project details, technologies, availability and client circumstances move on, and a page written last year may describe something differently today.

Descriptions of my role on a project are written to be accurate to what I actually did. Where a project was team work, and most of it was, the description covers my part of it and is not a claim to have built the whole thing alone.

Nothing on this site is professional advice of any kind. If you read something here and apply it to your own project, that is your decision and your risk. Ask me directly if you want an answer that applies to your situation.

6. No warranty

The site is provided as it is and as it is available. I do not promise that it will always be reachable, that it will be free of errors, or that every interactive element will run correctly on every combination of browser, device and graphics hardware in existence.

7. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss you suffer from using this site or from relying on anything published on it. That includes loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, and any indirect or consequential loss, whether caused by errors on the site, interruptions to it, or problems your own hardware encounters while running it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

8. Links to other sites

Project pages link to live client and employer websites and to code repositories. Those are not mine. I do not control them, I am not responsible for what is on them, and a link is not an endorsement of anything they do now or in the future. Following them is at your own risk.

9. Privacy

How I handle personal information is set out in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Both form part of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

I may update this page. The version that applies is the one published when you use the site, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Nepal have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, this does not remove the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live, or your right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
