Bespoke Wood Flooring is a UK wholesaler and manufacturer of engineered oak flooring serving residential and commercial clients. During my time working at Sterling Wells, I built the bespokewoodflooring.co.uk website from the ground up, setting up a WordPress eCommerce showroom that fits their wholesale distribution model.

Because the company manufactures flooring and distributes exclusively through trade partners rather than selling directly to the public online, a standard shopping cart checkout did not fit their business. Instead of a direct purchase button, I structured the eCommerce catalog around an interactive product customizer and a retailer locator. Visitors can explore plank styles like Herringbone and Classic Prime, compare 45 finishes, pick matching accessories, and then use the locator to find their nearest physical retailer to view samples and place an order.

I handled the project from the initial web hosting and domain setup through to the page strategy and landing pages designed to capture trade and homeowner inquiries. After launching the platform, I managed ongoing website maintenance, speed optimization, and security setup so high resolution wood grain galleries loaded quickly across mobile and desktop devices. I also worked alongside the SEO team to configure Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager to track catalog interactions, customizer steps, and retailer searches accurately.
